Amy Schultz

7th & 8th grade

Mrs. Amy Schultz attended Concordia University Ann Arbor and graduated in 2010 with a B.A. as a Director of Family Life Ministry. In August 2010, Amy married Joshua and they are blessed with four children. Amy was commissioned and installed in August 2010 as the Director of Children’s and Family Ministries at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Stroh, IN. She served in that role for two years until she was blessed with the God given vocation to be a stay at home mother, which she continued for the next seven years. During her years at home, Amy felt a call to explore a new opportunity and go back to school to attain her teaching certification, which she achieved in June of 2019. Amy began her first year of teaching in the Fall of 2019 at Immanuel Lutheran.

Amy has a passion for youth and middle school aged children. She has worked with this age group in a church setting and now in an academic setting. She is committed to different learning styles and hands on learning and tries to incorporate that in her classroom on a daily basis. Teaching, proclaiming, and living Chist in a middle school setting while working with teenagers in their education and nurturing them in their faith walk is a blessing and an honor!
